Dave Adams, P.E.

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1989 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, Dave has held various engineering positions in big and small operating and engineering companies. Over the last three decades, he has held key positions in process, operations, project engineering, technology development, and project management in continuous and batch processes in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, Department of Defense, and telecommunications projects and facilities.

Dave joined PTI in 2004 and has been the Manager of Process and Mechanical Engineering since 2007. Since joining PTI, Dave has earned Professional Engineering Licenses in Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana.

“Earning my Texas Professional Engineering License after twenty years of field
experience allowed me to revisit the fundamentals of engineering in preparation
for my exam and reinforced all I had learned in the field.”

He has been an AIChE member for sixteen years and is currently a Director for the Dallas Local Section.

Dave has published articles in AIChE conference proceedings and Hydrocarbon Processing Magazine.

Dave is a critical member of the PTI team who is heavily focused on our process industry solutions including everything from water treatment to sulfur recovery, amine treating, and thermal oxidizers. As Dave likes to say:
